It's not exactly an 'X-FILES level' occurrence, but www.kucinich.us mysteeeeriously went down after Kucinich submitted 35 Articles of Impeachment for Pwezeedint Dubya.

Security-measures are back up, and the opening for you to sign a petition for our nation's righteousness is up-and-running; so you can go there and sign on as a true American!

The way stuff sludges through the system, this may not make it through until Dubya is out-of-office "naturally"; but it gives the signers an opportunity to stand up and be counted as 'they who knew he was never the best choice' ... like a marriage-annulment after the death of one of the spouses.

i'm sorry but you are wrong. do you think china and india are demanding more meat because it reflects growing social status? would you even consider it reflects the means to better nutrition than they've had in decades, even centuries? my reference to tibet came from the dali lama himself, who answered the question of a reporter regarding the killing of animals for sustinance. i stand my my opinion that "ethical" vegans are sheltered. you (referring to vegans in general) refuse to see the need for meat and how, even in countries considered "rich" that hunting is close to the only food that some families have. you would rather have human beings starve than see animals killed, animals who will overpopulate and starve if left alone. and, if they survive the overpopulation and starvation then they might well die as food for other aminals. i actually feel sorry for those who think this way because when hard times hit these people will find out exactly how much their "ethics" mean.

Impeachment Resolution: First Reading Today (7/15) This afternoon, at approximately 5 p.m. (EDT), the Clerk of the House of Representatives will give the first reading of the Article of Impeachment of President George Bush. Article One charges the President with deceiving Congress with fabricated threats of Iraq WMDs to fraudulently obtain support for an authorization of the use of military force against Iraq. Once the Clerk reads the bill, I will move to refer the bill to the Judiciary Committee for hearings. I believe the American people have a right to an open airing of the charges against this President. Did he or did he not lie to take us into a war? I believe the evidence is overwhelming that President Bush knew that Iraq was not an imminent threat, was not in possession of WMDs at the time, and had nothing to do with 911 or with al Queda's role in 911. And yet, despite having facts to the contrary, he took the U.S. into war with devastating consequences for our troops, our nation, and the people of Iraq. Congress must hold hearings. There can be no greater offense of a President or a Commander in Chief than to conjure a war based on lies to Congress, to the troops, and to the people of America. I love our country with all my heart and I intend to persist until America is America again.
