Denny Hamlin had a great NASCAR day today winning over Jimmy Johnson in a green-white-checked finish. It nealry became a redflag finish when Mario Andretti wrecked in the final laps, spinning hi race car and ending up with it blocking a portion of the track.

Earlier in the race, Hamlin had led Johnson by over 3 seconds, a really large lead. But after a post-caution shoot-out style restart, Hamlin never achieve the long lead time again. What mattered, however, was that he remained in front of Johnson through those final laps and took the checkered flag home with him.
