Disabling UAC in Windows Vista

One of the biggest complaints new users to Microsoft Windows Vista have is in regards to the User Access Control, or UAC. The UAC’s intended function is to protect the operating system from unauthorized changes, but, in reality, it goes much farther than that. Even the slightest changes to the system settings require confirmation, and an experienced user can find him or herself easily frustrated. It is, however, quite simple to turn off.
