Most people have heard of Google Earth, interactive map of the world that skillfully blend satellite photography, 3D graphics and the Internet. Few, however, have fully explored this fantasy world.

Did you know, for example, that Google Earth has a surprisingly realistic flight simulator?

To start using the simulator is necessary to download the software Google Earth (earth.google.com) whose latest version (4.2) was released with a file of about 13MB and different tools to use.

We, however, in this article we are interested in the simulator and then we are interested in discovering where it is hidden.

Then proceed to the software by clicking on the file that we have downloaded and follow the signs that we are gradually provided.

After installation, start the program and press the key combination Control+Alt+A and behold look fantastic flight simulator.

Before starting our adventure in the heavens of the world we are asked to choose which of the many airports available, and you want what we want to use air. The planes available are two:

F16 Also called "Viper" (viper), which is a fighter jet that allows you to browse upwards in acceleration. The afterburner, the turbine generates a thrust of 24,000 lbf that can reach a maximum speed exceeding Mach 2.

SR22 An aeroplane four places high performance. The motor 310 horsepower to reach a cruising speed of 156 knots and has a payload capacity of 420 kg.

The simulator can be used with the keyboard, mouse or joystick. Of course, a broadband connection and a powerful computer with excellent graphics make this experience beautifully realistic.

The item "Help" menu can access the user's guide, website and description of hotkeys. In particular this page describes the various combinations keyboard that can be used with the functions of flight simulation Google Earth. To begin with play flight simulator, however, enough to know that you start pressing Ctrl+Alt+A, but after having used for the first time, you can go back to this mode by selecting Tools> Enter Flight Simulator.
