Dislocated Shoulder Won't Keep US Olympic BMXer Kyle Bennet From Gold Medal Run

US Olympic BMX racer Kyle Bennett dislocated his shoulder in a crash during the Olympic Quarterfinal run today, however, that won't keep him out of the Gold Medal race. Bennett did not finish that run, when he and two other racers fell when Netherlands' Raymon van der Biezen slid out and caused the crash. Luckily Bennet's 2nd and 4th place finishes in the first two quarterfinal runs.

US Cycling spokesman Andy Lee said "He dislocated his left shoulder. Nothing is broken and he is planning on racing tomorrow. Structurally, he's fine to race. The doctors left it up to him to race."
