Disney Channel Presents "Cheetah Girls: One World," the Movie

Disney's popular Cheetah Girls series is going to get another original movie. Called "Cheetah Girls: One World," the movie premieres on the Disney Channel on August 22nd, but Disney already has a Web site up to promote the movie.

"Cheetah Girls: One World" is the third Disney starring the trio of young female singers, following "The Cheetah Girls" and (you guessed it) "The Cheetah Girls 2." In "One World" Disney is making a tie-in to the world's largest film industry (that's India's Bollywood, not Hollywood), with the Cheetah Girls (Chanel, Dorinda, and Aqua) traveling to India to star in a Bollywood movie.

"Cheetah Girls: One World" is directed by Paul Hoen and written by Nisha Ganatra. The movie was filmed on location in India.
