Disney World

Disneyworld is a great place for a family vacation. There are so many things to see and do, and the best part about it is that there is something for the whole family to enjoy. This is one vacation destination that is worth every penny you spend. Disneyworld is a place you will never forget, and you can make so many memories there.

Disneyworld has four major theme parks, and two water parks for guests to enjoy. You can purchase a park hopper pass so that you can go back and forth to any of the six places as often as you would like. This is the best option if you want to get the most out of your Walt Disney World vacation because you can pick and choose the things that you want to see.

My personal favorite theme park at Disney World is the Magic Kingdom. While it is geared towards the small child, there are still a lot of thrill rides for big kids to enjoy. The Magic Kingdom is home to the most famous attractions: Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. My personal favorite ride is Space Mountain because it is an indoor roller coaster that is set in the dark. There is nothing more scary than to not know where you are going.

Little children will enjoy Toontown at the Magic Kingdom. Here they can meet a lot of their favorite characters, as well as play like little kids love to do. I will warn you that the crowds pack into this theme park, and you want to make sure you hit the attractions you have to see right away in the morning, to avoid long lines. They also offer something called Fastpass, which prints you out a card and tells you went to come back to the ride so you do not have to wait in the line.

Since it is so hot in Florida, I highly recommend so time in the hotel pool or to visit one of the two water parks. It is a nice way to get out and have the whole family enjoy something. My personal favorite water park is Blizzard Beach, just because it has so many things to do. I could sit in the long lazy river for hours.

If you have never been to Disney World before, now is the time. They have added a lot of new rides, and you can even check their website for discounts and promotions. This is definitely one vacation you will not want to miss.
