Do numbers have colors??

When I was a little kid, I was fasinated by colors. I was not much interested in numbers but I began to imagine some numbers with colors which made me a bit more interested in numbers.

I alway thought the number five for instance was a big FAT Red number. Where as the number two I imagined to be blue probably because it rhymes. Number one in my mind is a soft pink. Number four I imagined to be yellow and six is green. Seven would be purple, Eight is white and Nine is Orange, Zero is silver colored. So the number 10 would be pink and silver.

Now you may have your own thoughts on this and not agree with the colors I percive numbers to be. So I invite you to leave your opinions or comments as to what colors you imagine numbers to be or even if you think they have or should have colors.

Then that brings me to the thought maybe letters have colors too which could be quite intreging coming up with 26 different shades, hues or tints of color for all them.

But kids relate to colors and it helps them in the learning process to have bright colors with letters and numbers when learning to read, write and do arithmatic.
