In case you're wondering if "weight gaining diets exist," the answer is YES. There are weight gaining diets just like there are weight loss diets. With weight gaining diets, individuals concentrate on eating foods that have protein, carbohydrates and fat. For the protein 20 to 50 percent of protein in something equals about 1 to 2 grams per pound of body weight. So if you are trying to gain weight, you should just eat more of the things that have protein, carbs and fat in them and that will do the trick.

You see, you can gain weight just like losing weight. In fact, it can be a lot easier gaining the weight rather then trying to lose, as people trying to lose weight sometimes still seem to gain a couple of pounds even when they are exercising and such. Its much more of a workout and harder to keep the weight off then to put it on.

Not only do you want to gain weight but you want to build up your muscle while gaining weight. Therefore, the first thing you need to do is to conduct indepth research on what others methods that weight gainers have successfully used and then develop an individual weight gaining plan based on the amount that you want to gain.
