Well the real chances of winning the lottery are on the back of the ticket, but I encourage you not to look, it just might depress you.

If you spend five dollars a week on the lottery, consider putting that money into the stock market, or your bank until you have enough to invest in the stock market. At the end of twenty years you will have over fourteen thousand dollars at a ten percent return on your money which is what the market has averaged for the past fifty years or so.

This is a much better investment that the lottery.
