The Presidential election fever has hit the iPhone as well. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama after hitting social networking site Facebook with over 1 million friends and campaigning through YouTube will now be available in iPhone. The Democrats have come out with a new application Obama '08 which connects the user to Obama's campaigning with all the tools required to stay in the know. The app is available in iPhone app store or can be downloaded free of cost depending on your iPhone plans.

Some of the features of the 'Obama '08' include 'Call friends' that helps organize and call contacts based on key battleground states, reminder service to remind friends on election day, finding local Obama supporters, updates on latest news regarding the campaign via text messages, finding local events, browsing media reports and photos on the campaign, facts about Barack Obama and Joe Biden's plan for essential issues facing Americans. “With Obama '08, you have the information and tools necessary to help deliver the change we need come this November” goes the advertising campaign. Now that's what is called, ‘Catching 'em young’.
