Do you remember Spuds Mackenzie?

Spuds MacKenzie was a Bull Terrier who appeared in Bud Light comercials in the 1980’s.

Spuds, whose real name was Honey Tree Evil Eye, was named marketing dog of the year in 1987, when he was featured in a Bud Light Super Bowl ad.< p>

Spuds was know as the “original party dog”, usually shown poolside enjoying beer and surrounded by beautiful women.

Although Budweiser tried to conceal the truth, it was later discovered that Spuds was actually a female. But Spuds was still as popular as ever.

Eventually, Spuds retired from Bud Light commercials and lived her final years in Illinois with her owners. Spuds died of kidney failure in 1993.

Spuds did much to advanced the popularity of his breed. Bull Terriers are very intelligent. They enjoy life as the sole pet of the family, since they can be aggressive with other dogs. They are very devoted to their owners.
