Do Your Friends Always Let You Down?

Do Your Friends Always Let You Down?

Every day I get out of class, come to my bedroom, and without even a moment's notice, my finger requests light from a tiny switch affixed adjacent to the entrance. Without question or complaint, this tiny mechanism elucidates the entire space... with the help of a light bulb. The switch does not have to ask or repeat itself...the bulb simply begins glowing. It helps the switch until it literally breaks itself.

People are a lot like light bulbs.

Some get lucky. We have friends who brighten our day and stay with us throughout it all...but most of us are not so lucky.

Some use more of your energy than others, some stay with you for many years, and a few are broken right out of the box!

They make plans, and don't show up or they tell you they love you, then they break your heart.

Dependability is about as present as oxygen on Neptune.

Every single human must always make a concerted effort to do his or her absolute best to do what they say they will do or help a friend in need. The filament of human inclination tends to shine brightly at first, but the next time the switch is flipped, it evaporates. Be Consistent.

Whether those with whom you associate need you to enter their life clockwise or counterclockwise...remember that you should always shine brightly whenever they truly need you.

Nice Imagery

When I was a little girl, my Grandma always told me not to hide my light under a basket, but to let it shine out into the world. Your images reminded me of that. Angel
