Does China Own The U.S. of A? | How Can We Affect World Events Out of Our Control?

I was going to write a Xomblurb pointing to the link above, but I realized I wouldn't be able to do it in 100 words, so I opted for this Xombyte. I'll repost the link to the article toward the bottom as well.
It's by a contributor over at Hub Pages, name Pam Grundy. She explains in lay terms (words I can even grasp) how it came to be that China owns so much of the United States, and as one of the commentators suggested, we should start learning Chinese as soon as possible.
She talks about the bail out of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae being more to appease China than anything else, and just how beholden we have become to China that we'd be in a bottomless pit of doo doo the very next day after China cut off the flow of loan money to the United States.
Suddenly, all that Ron Paul stuff about fiscal responsibility, not biting off more than we can chew, and the founding fathers vision of being sovereign & independent is making even more sense than ever to me.
And what TV zombies we have become, that most of us don't have a care in the world about the implications of all these banks & major financial institutions failing, one right after the other, simply because the TV talking heads aren't telling us what it all means. We just assume that if it's not on the TEE-vee, it must not be real.
Yet we still have independent books and smaller journals & publications and of course the internet, where even the smallest amount of research will show us that the people who own the TEE-vee productions aren't looking out for us, but rather they are keeping us in the dark.
I'm sure a lot of people feel like they are powerless to change anything so why bother even learning about it, but that only goes to compound the situation. Maybe global disaster can not be averted, but then again, possibly if, en masse we educate ourselves and network and make changes in our day to day lifestyles, we could avert a lot of the coming storms.
Dumbfounded is how I feel when I contemplate how many people
are willing to support a Presidential candidate who supported more than 90% of the time, the guy in the White House who has presided over so much of the turn-around of our once mighty nation. I always wondered how dudes like Hitler had so many supporters, even when it was apparent to anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear that he was bringing Germany to her knees; but now I see it playing out before my eyes.
I don't believe Obama is the answer, since he's also a New World Order shill, but if there are only 2 choices, I'm shocked that 99% of Americans aren't supporting him via the anyone-but-the-Republicans theory.
Rhetorically I'm going to ask some questions, but I know the answer comes down to "Because the TEE-vee people aren't telling us about it":
How do the Repugnantcans get away with calling the Demoncrats big spenders?
How do they take credit for keeping us safe, when the very best scenario about 911 is they were at the helm and allowed the largest security gaps in the history of the country, while ignoring dozens of specific warnings that allowed 911 to happen in the first place? (Again, that's the best case scenario.)
Along those lines, why didn't heads roll in the 911 aftermath? All that happened is people got promoted and agencies that failed us were given more even a lot more money for which they are not accountable to the taxpayers for. The security lapses had nothing to do with a shortage of money.
How could anyone support the Party that lied us into a war with Iraq that has now created God knows how many future anti-American extremist Muslim terrorists; and that has killed way more Americans than the 4000 they are admitting to; and that has injured tens of thousands more Americans, including many amputees and paralyzed, and now mentally ill -- while not supporting them in their needs after they served the country; and that killed hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens; and that has absolutely bankrupted our economy setting off a chain reaction of tragic and dangerous fiscal events?
How could anyone support the party that used 911 to subvert the Constitution and impose draconian legislation where the President can label anybody a terrorist and take away their rights as an American?
How can anyone continue to support the war in Iraq, especially knowing that active service personnel are contributing to Obama's campaign several times as much as they are contributing to McCain's, and after hundreds of former Generals and even some active Generals have come out publicly against the war?
How can anyone take a vice presidential nominee seriously who cites, incorrectly, the ability to see Siberia from Alaska as a qualification? (OK, I've never been to the edge of Alaska and tried to look, but I'm betting the farm that you can't see Siberia. I mean I sure can't see Cuba from Key West, but even if I could how does that qualify me as a diplomat?)
At any rate, I don't know that we can turn things around, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try. The first thing we need to do is turn that boob tube off, and especially quit watching the news, both world/national and local. The Tee-vee has several main functions. I've listed several of them:
It's a Powers-That-Be brainwashing device. Tell us something enough times and we'll believe it, even if it's not true. Iraq was involved in 911? Duh, ok.
It's a diversion device to keep our minds occupied and hypnotized; hence preventing us from educating ourselves about what's really going on.
It's a source to rob us of our humanity and spiritual connectedness, and to lead us into mass depression. (Why do you think the "news" is really, the bad news?
Obviously it's there to sell us products, especially pharmaceutical drugs...And not just sell them to us but get us addicted to them. Never mind that we can't even buy them on our own without a doctor prescribing them to us. (This, of course, fits in well with the depression thing. Get us depressed, and then hook us on anti-depressants.)
And that speaks to possibly it's largest function. To serve as the vehicle for the Powers-That-Be psycho-social program known as, Problem | Reaction | Solution. Present us with a problem, foment the reaction, & provide the solution. (Google it for more on that. I've been told my essays are too long.)
For all of the above and more, it is in our interest to wean ourselves from the TV addiction. Next, we need to be the change we wish to see in the world (as Gandhi told us), so if we don't like the irresponsible financially repulsive shenanigans we are seeing all around us, we need to be fiscally responsible in our own lives and not live beyond our means. Credit cards are part of the C-word. (No not the C-word McCain called his wife in front of reporters. I mean, conspiracy.) The PTB (powers that be) entice us with their alluring TV commercials and programming, then offer us credit with interest and penalties built in to keep us in debt. If it's not right for the government to be irresponsible that way, then it's not right for us.
I think it's also important to open our minds to new or alternative information, even if it pushes our buttons. Probably, ESPECIALLY if it pushes our buttons. The way the subconscious mind works, that's often an indicator that there is something there for us. Kind of like if you hate somebody or something about them, it probably means there's something in you that's similar, but you focus it outwards.
Meditation of some sort is huge on the list of things we can do to change our situation. Prayer is up there too, but prayer is usually like making a Christmas list, whereas meditation involves listening; be still and know.
The Universe keeps reminding me that visualizing is really important. Of all these things I need to work on, that's probably at the top for me: (Seeing things in our mind's eye the way we would like them to be, rather than only dwelling on how they are now.)
Lastly, I've made repeated general references to educating ourselves. Specifically, I believe a great starting point is with an amazing little book by Ron Paul, available at Amazon.com, The Revolution: A Manifesto. It is startling how much practical world-changing wisdom is packed into so few pages and how easy it is to understand. I"m not the sharpest tool in the shed. When reading important books it's not uncommon for things to sail right over my head. Paul is really a gifted communicator because I read it and I got it. I guarantee, you can too.
Well now, I guess I was right...This did go over 100 words.
Here's Pam Grundy's Hub page link again about how we've allowed America to become China's bitch.

Just one more thing: Lest anyone think I think it's all the bad Republicans fault; we didn't get where we are all in the last 8 years or all because of GOP. I'm guessing every President at the very least since the dawn of the 20th Century has been a total New World Order shill, or else they wouldn't have been placed in the position. (When Kennedy tried to renig on the deal, he got to graduate earthly existence early.) I just think the amount of damage that has been done and the length of the stride the globalists have made toward their vision of taking down the United States as a super power as one of the last impediments to one world government, has been breathtaking and shocking.
