Hollywood have a negative impact on the world because of the messages and content that their shows and movies implying to the world and all of those contents are created just to win over viewers and thus more business opportunity with their advertisers. The more people watch their shows the more advertisers will pay them to advertise.

Hollywood makes it money mostly from movie goers and advertisers paying them billions for several minutes of TV time. I know this very well because I'm an actor in Hollywood. Ever since I've been in Hollywood, I have seen more negatives impact upon me than positive one.

I'm now quiting Hollywood because of relocation but I'm very afraid of the negative impacts on me in Hollywood. The worst impact on me is the men in the work place pressuring you for favors and there are not a lot of workplace restriction because working in the movie industry is completely different than working in a real world work place. There is no poster in the hallway about sexual harassment.

There is no communication between your employer and you about all the negative working condition on set. You have to try to protect yourself and report to the unions of people who mistreated you. There is a union for Hollywood entertainers but only the union protects you. Your employers do not concentrate on the issues of protecting. Your employers exploit you more than protecting you because we're entertainers and we do things that is completely different than the normal working environments. We dance, sing, act, make love on screen and everything else. Some of our work requires us to be expose more and act more outrageous. This is entertainment that we are talking about.

In Hollywood in order for you to advance you have to make friends with the directors and producers and all of their friends make it into the industry and other talents are hungry on the side. There is no equal employment protection in Hollywood. The producers choose whoever they want because they are the one who put out the money for the production. There is no definite merits to a job requirement because it's entertainment and therefore it's difficult for you to prove their discrimination.

There is a little bit if equality in that they let everyone audition but they pick whoever that they like. You have no saying and can't appeal. Therefore, due to favoritism, many actors and actresses try to befriend the people in powders and this let to many problems including sexual favors and unfair treatment and hiring among talents.

There is also problems with illegal drugs use. There is also pressure among the crew to use drugs. I've working on set for years and it's a fact that 80% of people in Hollywood use drugs. You have heard it all the times on the news of entertainers dying over drug overdose. Entertainers are also the type that don't care about anything. They are very reckless and carefree.

The negative impacts that Hollywood have on the world is the movies and shows contents. The contents are sometimes trash like and have no literary values but as long as people are viewing, they will make money and continue with the trashy materials. Hollywood is not trying to put out good films or shows, they are merely trying to make money with advertisers and movie goers. They will produce in according to the statistics of the viewer's preferences. If you like trashy movie then they will make more trashy movies.

They produce contents that win viewers not critics. I agree that some of the materials in Hollywood is very trashy and have low literary values. They do have some good materials like star wars and Harry Potter though.

You have to be careful with the materials that they put on TV and movies because some of those contents are to attract more viewers and not to speak the truth. The truth is not close to any Hollywood's studios. Most of the contents on TVs and movies are just the hype.

Hollywood makes the world think that sex, big boobs, skinny legs are cool. In reality they are not because all of those things are detrimental for any girl to believe in. Hollywood is just a facade and you shouldn't pay too much attention to them. They do have good materials sometimes and only those are worth your time.
