Radio shock jock Don Imus, fired for making controversial remarks about the Rutgers University women's basketball team, will return to radio this December.

Imus was fired in April from his nationally syndicated show by CBS Radio. He will reportedly return to the airwaves on December 1st on WABC 770 in New York City, taking over the morning show that has long been filled by the team of Curtis Sliwa and Ron Kuby.

Imus had caused controversy on his various radio shows many times in his decades-long career, usually because of derogatory or crude comments directed at blacks or other minorities as well as women and ethnic groups and scatalogical humor.
