Dont hate me cause I dont believe

I might not necessarily believe in the bible. It seems a that both times I read it, it seemed a little bedtime fairytale for me, but this election plays right into the fairytale. It is quite eerie. As an agnostic, I don't believe or disbelieve. I don't discriminate or favor either way. As an educated man with a Masters degree I am willing to listen to everyones opinion and take it for what it is worth. Unfortunately, I have to say that what is happening is something that I have read before. It was in the bible. Is it crazy, yes, is it true, yes. Think about tomorrow. I know I'm rambling, but I'm curious at the same time to see what tomorrow brings for my white children and the rest of the USA. I didn't serve my country to se it plunge into the past.

What is the President?

Please don't think I am prejudice, I just haven't heard anyone talk about what our new President-elect will be doing for our country. Since winning the election, I have heard he was voted for because he is black, he is for the negra-American (a 106 yr old black woman gave this reason)he is the first black-American President, he is the 44th President, he is making history, one of his daughters is looking forward to redecorating her room at the White House, the day after election he took a break from political life. (Good for him too, I'm sure he is exhausted.) But, what is he going to do for the country? And just out of curiosity, with all the black-American's gushing in pride for the skin color of our President-elect, what is he going to really do for them? Why are they so excited? Why is some of white-America so scared? The President of the US is not able to make decisions on his own, unless it is to veto. He has to have Congress back him up to make good on any campaign promise. This country is not run by the President alone. I just don't get all the "to-do" about the president of the US. Maybe I'm naive, but I just don't get it. I am a controversy. MJ
