Dora the Explorer Will Become a Tween and Get a Makeover

I wonder if Nickelodeon will give tattoos to Dora the Explorer like Mattel just gave to Barbie?

Dora will undergo an online makeover in the Fall and turn in to a tween in order to "extend the brand". The words lip gloss and sexy shirts are being tossed about by a parent but Nickelodeon claims it's all about diversity and wholesomeness.

What are they going to do with boots? Did he eat Dora's best friend and have to be put down? Visit my homepage here

What? Barbie Has Tattoos?

I hadn't heard about Barbie getting tattoos. This is a revolting development. I have nothing against tattoos but I don't think they belong on Barbie. If Barbie had had tattoos in the 70s she wouldn't have been in my toy box. I also don't think Dora should ever grow up. If the ratings and merchandise sales are down they should just retire the show. Mia,

I saw this the other day and for the life of me, I can't figure out why they're making Dora grow up. It's not like Tweety Bird or Charlie Brown ever grew up.
