Thanks Neroli! Yes, Aldorlea
Thanks Neroli! Yes, Aldorlea Games developed not only 3 Stars of Destiny but also Laxius Force I and Laxius Force II! I'm a big fan as I find the games to be up a notch from your usual PC RPGs, meaning that playing them is not just a mindless hobbie, you get to find new things in the games every time you replay them! And the joy to discover a new secret is irreplaceable!

Hi Dysgal! I've had the chance to play a bit since I wrote the blurb, and agree that it's a nice RPG. You should post a Xombyte -- that was a great review. Aldorlea Games also developed 3 Stars of Destiny, right?
Personal review on Millennium: A New Hope
Millennium: A New Hope is easily the most accessible game released by Aldorlea Games, however it stays miles away from dull! Quest solutions are often very inventive and funny and if you think you've got RPGs figured out, then think again!
Story: The story flows nicely and you'll for sure give a few laughs as dialogs can be quite witty at times. You'll soon end up sympathizing with Marine and her strong fearless even crazy personality and her cousin Benoit's wimpy attitude will have you smiling at times. You'll find in Jeanne the fairy a true helping hand!
Sound: The background music for the game is entirely original. I thought the matching of music with locations was impeccable, with monks singing at the monastery, a very joyful crazy tune when Marine gets acquainted with Jeanne and the choice to have a stronger tune for big bosses fights, than that of regular fights, surely made my adrenaline rush.
Graphics and Artwork: Millennium was made using RPG maker XP as such the graphics despite beautifully customized remain much in style with the usual graphics associated with this program. As for the Artwork I though it was lovely and a very nice reward having it fully displayed at the end of the game!
Gameplay: There is a bit of everything... yes, even gold! You have the chance of saving anytime and anywhere and you also can choose the random encounter rate that best suits your mood. Most monsters don't drop gold, however if you go hunting in the wild you would be very surprised to find preys with money, here it is the same, monsters drop items like honey and wings that then you can trade for gold! The secret rooms are a joy to discover and the guilds and shrines allow you to upgrade your characters.
Overall: It was a great game (9.5/10) and I will be avidly waiting for the next chapter! For any queries on the game go over to www.ardorlea.org the official forum of the game and certainly the most thorough and reliable!
