Several electronic forums have reported that the Polaroid DRA 01601a is having problems. Many people who have recently purchased this DVD player are now finding that the machine is freezing up. Will this hurt this season's sales. Guess will have to wait and see.

Despite the recent problems, this is supposed to be one cool gadget.

The dra-01601a has a 160gb hard drive and atsc tuner. It also has something called YesDVD, which lets you record at the touch of a button. It can also record in real time, to a DVD+R or DVD+RW and even to the hard drive!

The dra-01601a records up to 204 hours of media and creates DVDs at the touch of a button. It has front USB and SD card reader ports. A 30-second skip feature lets you jump over commercials for commercial-free viewing.

All I can say is, I want one!
