Drama in the hospital

While I was working in the hospital, I've noticed many problems that was caused by a dysfunctional family. Problems do not happen often in a good family. It can be very difficult to live in a dysfunctional family. You can't accomplish a lot when you constantly hear yelling and arguing. There're some people that won't change. What should a person do when they come from this kind of family. I think it's best that people move out on their own and start their own life.

If you want to see the dark side of life, you should visit the hospital floor. Each room is a different story. They were all painful stories. One family has Aids and another has terminal cancer. After I think about the patients in the hospital, I'm still thankful that I have less problems. The problems that the patients have can be prevented but people don't always take the time to prevent problems. I feel sorry for them but there was nothing that I could do to help.

I took care of one kid who was eleven year old. He later had his leg amputated because his mom didn't know how to give him shots at home. She caused him the infection and they amputated his leg. This was one problem that could have been prevented if the mother did the shot right. The family sued the hospital for millions and they won.

Another story was a man who cheated on his wife and gave her Aids. He slept with other women and he got Aids afterward. He gave Aids to his wife and his kid. The other mistress try to find out where the wife is and she was hiding her identity while she was in the hospital. Men will cheat on you sometimes. I saw many affairs that cause people to become patients. It's sad but that's life. You will often see drama. Why do people love drama so much? Can't they live a clean life for once?

I saw another story where cousins had kids together. The child came out with many problems because the parents were cousin. The child had about seven concurrent illnesses. They spend a lot of time in the hospital and they couldn't do anything else. The child suffers and so does the family. Was this necessary at all? The mother often yells at me as I tried to help them in their room. She was agitated all the time. Usually family who spend a lot of time in the hospital will have a poor quality life.
