"The Artist's Magazine is a monthly publication written by artists for artists... Freelance writers must be able to write specifically about the artist’s techniques, from the artist’s viewpoint, using the language of art. Feature articles can range anywhere from 500 to 1,200 words. Payment is made only to the writer. We typically pay writers between $300 and $1,000 for feature articles, depending on the article."
