Poetry in a photograph:

these pics were taken using infra-red light - that is, light below our visible detection; picking up waves that are longer than we can see with our human eyes. Some snakes can see in infra-red and find it useful for finding warm-blooded prey. Infra-red cameras, however, are usually used to pick out many objects far away in space.

These photos have an eerie, dream-like quality to them - I wish there were more.
