Driving not being taken seriously
posted March 26, 2007 - 9:34amIs it me? or people driving worse and worse. There seems to be more reckless driving on the road these days than ever. Driving isn't being taken seriously anymore. It makes me wonder sometimes how some of these folks received a drivers license. Everyday I'm on the road with someone driving crazy. Most of the time some guy is trying to intimidate me in his big truck or suv because I have a small car. This one guy was tailgating me and I was doing the speed limit. Although there was a police officer up ahead the roadway he passed me up and continued to speed pass the officer. I'm like he's not even afraid that the police might come after him. One guy almost knocked me off the road trying to switch lanes on the interstate, he just kept switching lanes not even paying attention to who was on the side of him. He really scared me, I could've been dead. He also had a trailer on the back of his truck while trying to switch lanes. I'm like how can you switch lanes like than with a trailer on your truck. The other day while stopping for the red light this car behind me passed me on the shoulder so he wouldn't have to stop for the light. On the interstate its 70mph but people do 80mph, man people just don't care anymore. Paying ticket fines are like nothing for most people. Does anyone think there be more consequences for people who reckless driving besides fines?
