Burden Bearers are Christian intercessors that perceive things in others. They are all different, yet they have some characteristics that are the same. They have giftings like, by other names, the spiritual gifts of an empath, clairvoyant, medium, channelers, spiritual healer, and etcetera.

Yet, this gifting can go awry in both burden bearers and in empaths. The gift is like tasting of the persons soul so that you know how to pray and intercede for the person. Or, maybe it is a word you are suppose to give or a revelation of the person’s nature.

Yet, if a burden bearer gets too spiritually hungry they can start feeding off the people they are joining with. I call this leeching. These can be the people who after you finish talking with them you feel drained. For life is in the blood and that life they suck out of a person.

A prophetic or visionary type may feel extremely upset after speaking to the burden bearer leech. The prophet or visionary type may not know why but they just can’t stand the person anymore. The prophetic type may not want any more contact with the person, and this may be hard for a Christian who is confused by this feeling, almost a disgust or hatred of the person they are suppose to love. I think this is attributed to God’s love for the leeching burden bearer. The burden bearer has become like an undead or a vampire in the spiritual realm. The only remedy is the filling of God’s presence in the leeching burden bearer.

For the burden bearer to work properly the spiritual life force of God is to flow through the burden bearer and then feed the person they have soul tied with.

This life force of God will rejuvenate the burden bearer; for Jesus himself was a burden bearer and he told the disciples that he had food that they knew not of; that food he said was to do the will of God.

When the burden bearer doesn’t feed off the true source of life, they now try to feed off of others.

The burden bearer is like a land that has a huge bottomless chasm in their souls. If they are healthy living water comes out of that chasm and flows to others and brings life. But, if they are separate from God then that hole needs to be filled and the burden bearer starts absorbing life energy from those around them.

Most burden bearers don’t realize that they are doing that. They just have this un-satiable appetite that they can’t seem to fill. Like a starving animal they get into the trash and feed.

A non mature burden bearer can switch between a life giver and a life drainer. One month they are fine and one month they are starving and leeching.

Now there are some who know what they are doing and just feed. They are addicted to the different life forces; the problem is that they don’t realize that they not only get the good stuff, but also the toxins in the other peoples souls. Those toxins slowly build up in a burden bearer or soul stealer and then their life completely gets all out of whack; they have all kinds of problems.

The only thing to do with leeches is to wait patiently and do only the things the Spirit is directing you to do; for if you try to help you may be hindering what the Spirit is trying to do. The Spirit may be trying to break them so that they only feed off of God, for he is the only one who has enough life energy to feed them. Plus his spiritual energy is pure, whereas human spiritual energy is corrupt.

This spiritual energy is the energy that God has but into everyone when they were created. And he breathed into Adam the Spirit of life and so man became a living soul.

There are spiritual beings not of the human race, who are leeches and drain people of their life energies. But, I won’t discuss these entities here.

Some of the physical symptoms of a leeching burden bearer is that they want you to do everything for them. They are setting you up. They are trying to groom you so that they can easier drain a person. They want constant attention and can never seem to get enough no matter how much you offer to them. They try to become dependant on other people for even simple things.

There also can become like spiders. They don’t want any other spiders around but they will keep a couple of close insects wrapped up tightly to feed off of.

The leech may complain that it’s everybody else’s fault, that it is other people’s responsibility to take care of them. They will complain that the other person is not taking care of their needs. The leech will try to demand that it is another person’s responsibility to meet their needs.

Leeches are very adapt at this. They can sense another person’s weakness and a person’s gifting. When they perceive that a person is not responding to guilt, manipulation, then to demands, then to false sympathy then they will try a new tactic. If the burden bearer notices that the person is about to cut off the relationship, they will back off until the person is at ease again.

This is really dangerous when the leech takes their spouse into counseling. The leech can read the counselor and the spouses and will play their way until they get their way.

Does the leech know they are doing this? Usually not. They are like a hungry animal that knows that there is food and they figure out any way to get it.

Others usually don’t realize that the leech is sucking life out of people. So those who love the starving burden bearer or empath try to deal with the person on a natural level. They will talk to them about manipulation and being bossy. But, they don’t realize the burden bearer is starving. Tell a starving raccoon not to get into the cooler full of food, yeah right!

The main thing that a burden bearer needs is contact with God. Contact with God; For God is the living bread, the living water, the source of all life.

Cleansing prayers from a distance can be awesome for a starving burden bearer, because they probably have fed and picked all kinds of spiritual parasites and other things.

Even mature burden bearers can pick up stuff and get sludge and plaque built up. Burden bearers are like the kidneys of the body. When working properly the blood brings in waste into the burden bearer who in turn flushes it out to the bladder and out of the body. If the kidney cannot get rid of the waste it shuts down or dies. There are many problems that the kidneys can have and dialysis may be needed to be given to the body by the Spirit, but that is another article. Now, it may take a spiritually wise or a direct revelation from the Spirit that a person is a burden bearing leech.

These leeches can be some of the hardest people for mature burden bearers to intercede for; because they connect into the leech (and God hope it is by the direction of the Spirit) and start cleansing and praying and feeding the leech. This can be very, very, very hard for the mature burden bearer. The best is if they have a support team praying for the mature burden bearer. A quick connect and feed may help, but the Lord may want an extended connection of weeks. This can totally lay the mature burden bearer out for weeks.

And if the mature burden bearer is only a spiritual teenager (only half mature), and connects to a leeching burden bearer this can be disastrous, save the grace of God.

Some leeches have tried to hook into me and I feel sorry for them, because I know what flows through me and I know that they are going to get a lot of the waste that I am processing through. They think, “I’ll connect because there is so much life coming out of him.” Yet, they don’t want what I process out of the body.

I actually almost killed a person by connecting with them when I was processing for others. By the grace of God, the person who was a holy spiritual person survived. This can be very dangerous for the spouse of a burden bearer if the burden bearer is not spiritually cleansed and sealed when the spouse of the burden bearer connects in intimacy.

Therefore, the easy solution is for the leeching burden bearer to just go to God. The difficulty with going to God is that the more the burden bearer opens up to God the more they open up to the pain that is in the spiritual realm, from the pain that God has because of his great love and the pain of others. Just like the kidneys that are connected to the blood flow. The burden bearer gets rejuvenated but also has to process waste in through their system and back out and this can be very painful, look at the garden of Gethsemane. Would you want to go through that? Neither does the burden bearer and so they shut down. The life that is found in the Blood of Jesus, the Ultimate Burden bearer, who is the exact image of the Invisible God, is what is needed for the Burden bearer’s health, yet the pain of processing the waste of other’s pain can be like the excruciating pain of passing a kidney stone.

May you easily enter into the presence of God and may all your kidney stones be small.
