While all of these sites claim to pay the *big bux* for taking surveys, how many people do you know that make anything for doing them, especially when you are going to be charged a fee as high as $40 or $50 just to have access to their database? I am not just slagging such businesses--I've actually tried some of them. I got tired of the hype and decided to find a real way to make money at home, which is why I am here on Xomba. IMHO, paid survey sites are as big a scam as those that pay you $.02 per click on the e-mails they send you, but require that you accumulate $50.00 in your account before they will pay you. At least with AdSense, you are dealing with a well-known, legitimate entity that pays you for doing quality work, which should be enough of an encouragement to learn SEO and actually develop writing skills.
