Sorry, but this pie in the sky instant thousands per month post is not at all realistic. This type of post only attracts the spammers.

To be fair, there *are* Xombies who've made more than 1K in a month. In fact, Xomba's home page has a link to "This user made $3,400 on Xomba in September alone." (That user claims to have made over $6,000 in November.)
Yes, this blurb is hype, but not totally unrealistic. (Of course, much of that one user's money was made writing about a certain disgusting video clip, which most Xombies are hoping will never be written about again!)

Yep, there are always exceptions, but I believe that this type of hype is counterproductive to all of us.
Hype
It *is* the exception, but since it is actually possible, and since Xomba itself decides to put such a claim on its front page, there's not much you or I can do about it.
If I were King of Xomba (hah!) I'd do away with the hype for all kinds of things that I consider counterproductive: get-rich-quick schemes, blurbs for illegal movie and TV watching/downloads, blurbs that are created just to present search keywords but offer no information or value to the reader, etc.
But, Xomba is staying true to its goal of allowing anyone to write anything as long as it doesn't violate certain rules, so we all have to live with seeing things we think aren't helpful or are not "quality." I have to bite my tongue several times each day reading through some of these "articles"!
Xomba Is Great
Xomba is a great site, but this article is really not realistic. It takes a lot of hard work to be successful with writing for money. I agree that it hurts us all for someone to sign up under the false expectation that they will make "huge" dollars with little or no work.
Xomba is what it is and it does not need to be mis-represented to attract writers.

but as I said, Xomba itself puts such claims on its front page. So apparently Xomba feels it *does* need to be represented that way, or that its somehow helpful to the company.
If enough Xombies asked Xomba to remove such claims from the front page, maybe the company would.
I don't think these claims really hurt Xomba. People who come just to get rich quick will fall by the wayside and stop posting when they don't get lots of money fast.
I personally prefer not to see such claims. There are other things I would prefer not to see on Xomba as well, but it's not my call to make. People are free to post whatever they want, within Xomba and Adsense guidelines.
Anything is possible.
I think it all comes down to the time you spent writing articles and promoting them. So since all that is in your hands, anything is possible :) +1
It's not Nonsense!!
I don't find this to be nonsense at all, and the last thing it can be is unrealistic. When you guys agree there are exceptions it becomes realistic. Not many people are gonna get there right, but it is definitely attainable, and Xomba itself claims it cuz it is realistic. iwelcomeu sure has written this post to attract people and he is. Isn't that why everyone is plugging away here?
The point I disagree with in this post though is the writer saying many people are making thousands of dollars here. That may give an impression that lots and lotsa people are earning that kinda money. To the visitors I must say, "It's only few people of the whole lot that can make that kinda money; I mean considering the number of members here it's a little percentage of people that are making really good money here".
So guys, apart from that one point I don't it to be unrealistic at all. If buddy if you get that one point corrected (not that you have to) this post is totally realistic for me. So..You can make really good money out here if you work really really really really really damn hard!!
