Easy Homemade Halloween Party Food Treat, Recipe For Leg Bones

It's easy to make these fun homemade Halloween party treats that are sure to delight your guests of all ages. This recipe for 'leg bones' is so easy to make, your kids can help you make them and add even more fun to Halloween!

Recipe For Halloween Leg Bones

For this Halloween party treat recipe you will need;

Tubes of refrigerated bread stick dough (the number of tubes depending upon how many leg bones you want to make. 1 tube makes 8)

1/4 cup melted butter

Salt (regular, sea salt or kosher salt)

Open the tubes of bread stick dough, separate and unroll each bread stick. Tie each end of the bread sticks into knots. Place on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam, brush with melted butter and salt to taste. Bake bread stick according to package directions until golden brown.

To make larger Halloween leg bones, follow the same recipe instructions but use tubes of refrigerated French bread dough instead of bread stick dough. Roll the French bread dough into a longer, tighter roll before tying each end into a knot so the dough won't rise so high in middle when baking. One tube of French bread dough will a realistic sized Halloween party treat leg bone.
