In a study scientists have found a 40% reduction in the incidence bladder cancer in individuals that eat 3 or more servings of raw veggies a month. The vegetables that gives the greatest benefit is broccoli and cauliflower. When eaten raw vegetables retain their nutrients better, this is the reason raw veggies gives a more effective protection against cancer.
