Ebay sellers beware
posted April 4, 2009 - 12:31amThere are buyers that can be fraudulent too so you do have to beware of that. One thing that you should beware of is paypal. Paypal has a robot that can really make you angry. It'll shut down your account over an email change. I once changed my email and the account was frozen. I was then asked to send in tons of information which I did and paypal never helped me. I talk to the representatives but they were like sorry no p.o boxes please and I was renting with my brother at the time and had to use a po box. Paypal shut down my account over a po box so I gave up on paypal for awhile and went with another type of payment. Paypal doesn't like po boxes.
Customers send me a bad check and got me to send them my merchandise by tricking me. I send out the merchandise and then got a note from my bank that the check was from a closed account. This was a professional scamming artist. She waited after thirty day she bid and send me the check so I can't compain to Ebay because they won't help you after thirty days. I gave up on that transaction. I have had customers that never send me my refund after I send them a refund through paypal due to paypal problems and none of them answer my emails for my request so I learn that people can't be trusted once the merchandise is in their hands. I have lost at least a thousands dollars to the customers on ebay. The customers there did not send the refunds back to me after I refund them because of some paypal problem and they never want to return my money. I lost like a thousand dollars and Ebay wouldn't help me delete these people accounts. I only have like three people that send me back the refund.
Ebay is not too good at helping you delete their accounts. They cheated on me and ripped me off. Paypal also is not very great at helping the sellers out. They don't make sense and they don't try to help you at all. They would close your account for at least 6 months until they will refund you your money. I understand that they have to protect themselves but they should more options and merits and should refund the sellers back their money if they don't have any merchandise selling or being returned or the customers have used it already.
For example, if a customers have received the sellers item for 15 days and have not make a complaint , it means that they are satisfied with the product and they are using it right. If they've already use it they can't return it. Most sellers do not make this option enable. Therefore Paypal should not hold your money for 6 months when your customers have use your products to the ground and your sitting with your money locked up for 6 months. Do you think this is fair?
