Effective Antivirus Program: Great Alternative to McAfee or Norton

I just had a desktop computer rebuilt and tweaked and instead of McAfee, which I currently still run on my laptop, my computer guy suggested the ESET NOD32 3.0 Antivirus System. I'm glad he did!

I'd gotten so used to the bulky McAfee program using up all of my RAM and really slowing down my system. There had been times I was convinced that I had some virus or something was seriously wrong with my computer just to find out that my virus program was running a scan or checking for updates!

Now don't get me wrong, I know my McAfee is working well. it has alerted me on several occaisions of threats and then took care of eradicating them! ESET NOD3 Antivirus, however, has been working just as well and I don't even know it's running in the background until it let's me know it's taking care of business!
