Efren Peñaflorida Jr. has proven that a person doesn't need millions in order to be able to help other people who are less fortunate than we are. We can always start sharing and helping other people to make their lives better by starting in our own small simple way. This he proved true when he and his two friends formed the Dynamic Teen Company (DTC). DTC's mission is to help educate  the destitute and out-of-school youth by teaching them basic literacy skills, the right attitude, and also personal hygiene.  They only had their plastic bags where they stored their books and school supplies. These materials, they used and notwithstanding the heat and long roads, they roamed  the shantytowns of Cavite in order to realize their mission. Recently, he was chosen by Cable News Network (CNN) as a candidate for their CNN Heroes.
