eHow income is generated in much the same way as Xomba; however, the payments at eHow come directly from the site and not through Google or other ad companies.

eHow has an easy-to-use format, with social networking tools such as a message forum, user profiles and article comment tools.

The how-to style of the articles makes them easy to write (share your skills and expertise with others) and to read (learn from others).

Some writers earn more than $10/ month for some of their how-to articles, others earn less, and some even more. However, earnings are not guaranteed and poorly written, unpopular articles likely earn nothing.

Personally, my articles range from a few cents a month to over $20 per month, with many clustered somewhere between the two.

As I've gained experience on the site and learned what is popular, my articles have done better. Certain categories get more activity than others.

As with Xomba, it is important to use good keywords for eHow.com. Target your article's audience with the search terms you use, and sprinkle them throughout your pieces.
