I am native of San Diego and
I am native of San Diego and have been to the Whaley House many times. Its interesting just to hear about the history of the house. I have never seen a ghost however they did say that sometimes you will smell the worst smell ever while walking thru the house. That I did experience while walking up the stairs to the second level. It was very super strong. Well I went with 3 of my sisters and that only made us laugh hysterically. We had been sitting in the remodeled courthouse and the host was kind of giving a history of the house when all the sudden this toddler fell off the bench seats in the row in front of me. So I stood up right away and said "DID YOU FEEL AS THOUGH YOU WERE PUSHED OFF YOUR SEAT" just as a joke and everybody got really serious, but of course my sisters and I were trying to maintain our composure from laughing. Good times!!
Happy Days, Bren
