As you already know I'm a huge fan of eighties music. Although you might not be,there are some people who also enjoyed that type of music. Since they rarely show these videos on TV anymore, I see no harm in reintroducing them. There is after all an entire new generation of people out there who have no idea who some of these artists are.

The videos of the nineteen eighties are a part of music history. The concept video was very popular at the time and rarely exists today. Just as there is some songs you can listen to over and over, there are some music videos you might want to take another look at.

One of the most interesting people, in both the musical style and the way they dressed is Stuart Leslie Goddard.

You might remember him as Adam Ant. although his musical career ended quite a while ago with a drop in the success of his sales, he went on to be a television and movie actor.

It's interesting to note that he is a very shy person. Apparently he came up with this idea to do his own makeup and present himself as a bolder more confident person. The buccaneer style clothing he is famous for wearing created his trademark. Between the intricate clothing, the interesting facial makeup and the offbeat hairstyle , complete with braiding and adornment he looked extremely sexy in a theatrical sort of way. Can you tell you he's a Scorpio?

The style of his music, at least in the early days was rather tribal sounding and primitive with heavy drumbeats accompanied by yells, whistles and gutteral humming.

The video I present to you is Stand And Deliver , one the very first concept videos Adam did. He plays a highwayman complete with all the trimmings. The video was shot in the English countryside and I love his facial expressions. There's a note of comedy in the video when he sings , "stand and deliver, your money or your life. try and use a mirror, not a bullet or a knife . "

Be sure to watch for Adam's dramatic entrance into the dining hall, as well as the escape. Throughout the entire video we see guitar player Marco with this red hair girl draped all over him. Out of all the members of the Ants over the years, Marco remained with Adam in other music projects.
