El Careyes: Chic Paradise

Do you want a taste of a Latin American Elitist playground? Then head to El Careyes in Costa Careyes, Mexico, it is paradise on earth. It is about an hour drive from Manzanillo airport, a scenic drive where you think you are being driven into the middle of nowhere...you are! Hold your breath for the grand, not not grand at all entrance, which makes it grand. This resort remains incrediably suttle but in deed manages to blow your mind with every further step into the world created. Its simply amazing! a hidden hideaway to the elite of Latin America and the few "in the know" crowds in North America. The hotel itself is situated on a breathtaking bay, that day to day is perfect, the ocean, the sun, the breeze, the temperature everything perfect. Seperate from the hotel are the casitas, if you can splurge on one of these, DO! They are amazing. They have there own pools and all vary in sizes, most of them are owned by very wealthy players to keep for there own playtime, but few are still for weekly rent, they steal your breathe as you first enter the door. There are also houses that surround El Careyes that can surely rival some of the most stunning houses in the world. Set atop of cliifs they are usually rented out for weddings, receptions, and fantastic parties. The cream of the crop mingle in these, but with a very high price tag, to keep them incrediably exclusive, as they should remian that way. Dont plan on amazing service or a typical resort that mosyt are used to, this is just not the "vibe" here at El Careyes, its definetly still rough around the edges, but that is forsure apart of its charm, and also making one feel like you in Mexico. There are also fantastic options for reall foodies, the restaurants that the hotel offers are wonderful, with traditions Mexican dishes that will surely please the most critical eater. And the drinks they mix up at the bar are quite spectacular. Also there is a wonderful Italian restaurant set upon a Polo field a few minutes away, that is a dream, romantic yet very manly at the same time. The barns holding the stateliest of Polo horses landscape the back and huge buffed wood picnic takbles set the seating for dinner, and the food is sure to delight everyone. Then the most fantastic little surpise awaits you during your trip to El Careyes, dar or night this little gem called Coco D'rio is truly just that a hidden gem. By day one feels they are lounging on there own private beach in St Tropez or Sardinia and by night one feels they are catering there own party in Ibiza, and the food is some of the best food tasted globally, it is a asian fusion that remind one of Asia de Cuba, but I would contect even better. El Careyes is a magical place that I highly recommend placing near top of your list on places to get too. But hurry before its discovered!!
