Electric Fish – Electric Eel Shock

In the Amazon rainforest, in the rivers of Brazil, Columbia, Venezuela and Peru, you will find the untouchable fish called the electric eel. The electric eel is not an eel but a fish. The electric eel is a fish that grows to length of seven feet and may weigh up to 20 kilogrammes. This fish is unique in that if you touch it, you will get an electric eel shock which is powerful enough to give you cardiac arrest.
The electric eel has more than 6000 electroplaques that produces up to 600 volts of electricity if the fish is disturbed by an enemy. And in that voltage is a current of 1 amp. This electric power shocks is what the fish uses to deal with its enemies.
