So Ellen DeGeneres is scheduleed to be American Idol's next female judge.  Wow, that's a big change from Paula Abdul.  I have to say, I'm a big fan of Ellen.  I can just see her dancing while someone is auditioning - or atleast towards the end.  Plus, she'd probably add humor to her critiques which would be a change of pace.  It seems like most female judges on Idol and shows similar to Idol (such as America's Got Talent) are there to sweeten the effects of the "harsher" male judges.  Ellen is sweet, but I can't wait to see what she'll have to say.
