The End of The Day

Ages 5 and up
Using your child's vocabulary words make it a card game. Write each letter that spells the words as a deck, give the child 5 cards and see how many words the child can make that are either in their vocabulary list or as additional words. This can be played as a group or team also. Each player gets five letters to create a word for each round at the end of the fifth round the one who has created the most words is the winner or winning group or team. This is a way to reinforce vocabulary or study words.
Another game that can be played with this same deck is each player gets one card and see how many words they can think of that is spelled using that letter. The one who writes down the most words that begins with the letter is the winner or winning group or team.
