Enders Game

Enders Game is an excellent book to read. It is just one book in an entire series. It is written by Orson Scott Card. Enders Game is considered on of the best Science Fiction novels every written and after reading it I have to say that I agree.

This is a book that has no dead spots whatsoever. From start to finish you will find it hard to put down. You will honestly enjoy every chapter, page, and paragraph of this book. Never have I read a book that I can claim this about. It is non stop greatness.

It takes place in the future but never gives a date. It is a book about a character who is named Andrew Wiggin but is called Ender Wiggin. Ender is a very bright boy who is selected like many other boys and girls to go to battle school for training to help defeat an insect like enemy that they all call the buggers or formics. There is no way I am going to give a shred more than that away about this book because if your smart you will want to enjoy this book without any spoilers at all.

This book only takes about a day to read and is great for children but also adults. The later novels deal with more adult issues but even though Enders Game is dealing with children does not matter. You will love it.

The chronological order of the books are as follows.

1. Ender's Game
2. Ender's Shadow (Parallel Novel to Ender's Game,
from Beans point of view)
3. Shadow of the Hegemon
4. Shadow Puppets
5. Shadow of the Giant
6. Speaker for the Dead
7. Xenocide
8. Children of the Mind

There are other stories that intermingle with these novals as well. They were short stories created for magazine articles and are equally good. If you are interested look up Orson Scott Card Enders Saga on wikipedia and get scoop on all the stories and the chronological order in which they take place. My advice would be to start with Enders Game first and read the rest after that. Even the short stories that are prequels.
