Even the poor apes are victims of the Chinese milk scandal...
I have another spin on this particular scandal, which makes you think a little.
Two gorillas may be the latest victims of China's contaminated milk scandal.
They show early signs of having kidney stones, local media have claimed.
The two young gorillas from Hangzhou Wildlife World in eastern China were fed milk powder made by the now discredited Sanlu group, which is 43% owned by the New Zealand dairy giant, Fonterra, the sixth largest dairy company in the world.
So far four babies have died and over 50,000 made ill after being fed contaminated milk powder - an unknown number having kidney stones.
Read my previous stories about the melamine scandal!
I have written posts over at Blogger Party and Blogevolve as the scandal hit the news around the world. Firstly thousands of Chinese babies became ill, and then four died, and an unknown number developed kidney stones, a painful condition for an adult. Then we became aware the baby milk powder was contaminated with melamine used in plastics and used with formaldehyde. The milk was watered down and the melamine used to get false readings with the milk powder. A scandal of all scandals? Many people have already been arrested because of the scandal.
