The Chinese company Tengzhong finally got the approval to purchase the Hummer brand from GM. Talks of this happening have been going on since June. Initially GM CEO said the brand would probably sell for atleast $500 million. Looks like he was way off, it sold for $150 million. GM will continue to make the H2 and H3 through June 2011. The company that purchased Hummer has no automibile experience so it's future is unclear after June. This makes me wonder where our military hummers will come from, China? Made in America but owned by the Chinese?
