Everywhere with Jesus...

Everywhere with Jesus...

Hey everyone,
So in the recent week i got to share Christ with 2 different people....in completely different
circumstances....

in the first one, im responding to a friends blog about smoking.....how bad it is.., how this person hates the smell...cant understand why people cough SOO much, only to smoke MORE...

soo here's my response..
---------------------------------------------------
yea i agree wholeheartedly....
altho i should say also..that i kinda started with your mental attitute...smoking should be

banned..the smoke smell is disgusting....etc, etc...
and i made the unfortunate mistake of trying it..and then buying my own packet...one HECK of a mistake...as i would eventually get addicted to it....

i tried DIFFERENT things to stop...like gradual decline...even tried the gum (tastes like crap btw)

but in the end, it was ultimately Jesus, who set me free....

o and by the way i wasnt a proud smoker i KNEW i was doing something wrong...something wrong against my body and wrong against the God who MADE my body...whenever i smoked i would do it in a secluded place...far away from other people......naturally i was thinking about that THEY

would think of ME....(all this to say my smoking experience wasnt a fun one either)

i was SOOOOOO frustrated at trying to quit and then stopping.....i would sometimes spend almost $5 geting a pack of cigs...a lighter...only to smoke ONE...then feel sooooo guilty that i would crush the others and throw them all away....

and even THAT process repeated itself many a time...

i even moved onto Cigars and thought..O maybe i'll do this ONCE IN A WHILE ....hehehe....Nooowaaayy i ended up doing it everyday day...and that gave me a cough and
cold that lasted for a few months!!!!!!

it was serious bondage...it was a horrible situation....

but then, all of a sudden one day the urge was GONE...

and i didnt WANT to do it anymore...thank God for that...

recently i tried Sheesha....and i really liked it...thought i'll do it once a while...but then i started
WANTING IT as welll...and..like the other 2....i got addicted to it...
and when i did it, i would try to hide it from my parents....and thats usually a sign to say ok..this is not good..they(parents) usualy tell u to stay away from the bad stuff.....

and i know this is how they would react if they found out...and YES they eventually do....

almost immediately God told me, you HAVE to give this up as well....and after ONE try i did it...

it was hard..

but God has better things planned for me, than all the above mentioned..

take care.

I added later:
O i should add that even when i used to smoke...i NEVER liked the smell...thats where i tried to

develop my sense of finding from which direction the wind was blowing..lol...
(makes you wonder who people smoke in cars with their windows rolled up....ACK!!)

then the SECOND time.....a classmate of mine, asked if Marie and I ever fight....i.e like a shouting

match....screaming at each other....etc, etc...i told her we've had our misunderstandings, differences of opinion, and i guess even arguements...but nothing so serious....
and we usualy try to resolve such things by talking about them (the credit of that idea goes to
Marie!).....so she asked how you guys do it....
and allll i could think off...were the verses in Ephesians....about a wife submitting and a husband loving his wife as Christ loved the Church....
and sooo i explained the husbands role....(granted im not married, but its close enough lol)
explained HOW Jesus loved the Church...ie. dying for ALLL of us.....even though he didnt have to...and how much the husband has to love his wife.......
it was all in all VERY interesting....

Praise God for these oportunities to witness about HIM...

soo yesterday...

one of our profs got SUPER angry at us...so ORDERED everyone to write a 20page essay on a

particular topic.....

i told this incident to Mom...and she said do it...cuz u never know when/if he'll ask...teachers almost never forget...
and soo i pondered what she said...and heard her speaking as a teacher herself...and so i thot..what the heck...let me do it..

came back from school....immediately started writing... then at 5:45pm..dropped off a CD a Rey's place...managed to squeeze a visit to ATE...and then went to the library meeting.....got to do a lot

of...errr....applying water to the backs of card holders that need to be attached to our books....its NOT as easy as it sounds...altho it has potential to be the worst job in the world....
but there was a cycle going...when i finished Jamie would write on a card and put it in the book and

SHE would pass it on to Emily who would put a smallll tag on it...according to its genre...

soo Jamie did a good job of keeeping the pressure on me...and for a while i was dominating the
situation....all thanks to Kids DVDs...which have LONNNNNGGG names...lol...
but then she caughtup and got cocky....and so i had to resort to playing dirty...
lol..ANYWAYS...it was fun..

then came back.........ate some dinner....(Mom and Dad went out to a friend's place)
and started writing...but i was playing some new games that i recently installed....so that was a bit

distracting...

then around 1:30am....i finished alll 20 pages...

came to school the next day...and NO ONE did it....and that was totally expected...and SLIGHTLY

frustrating...but totally expected was the prof. not even asking about it....he TOTALLY forgot
about it...lol...o welll....waat to doo yaar....anyways....so i thought no way am i going to let this goto waste....sooo i just put it in a file and submitted it along with another assignment that i needed to give him.....

Praise the Lau.

takecaer everyone....
