Face Off (Facebook vs Friendster)

Globally expanding and wiring the web with packets of friends and new age applications, Facebook and Friendster are more familiar about us than what we thought of our selves. Anyway, the fact is we are globally intertwined with this networks which is good for the purpose that people don't have to loose an eye keeping in touch with there loves ones across the seven seas. And that they could easily keep in touch to there where abouts by means of photo blogging or posting some commentaries on there page. What's behind them that keeping us from striking the same url anytime before we do our business on the internet?. Whats there common differences and drawbacks and how people react with this new age internet socialization?.

Mark Zuckerburg's ideology as a fresh college geek who turns to embed the internet through his social networking site Facebook has made him one of the greatest kid in internet networking history. Facebook, has been one of the most traffic site in the US and its popularity grows every day with an average of 19 minutes alone spent by users around the world which quickly drew the attention of the teenage crowd with its unique features and nice blue theme. People on Facebook can now chat with there friends and twit instantly. Friends and friend of your friends could spot you in the Highlights section which makes it easy for people to jam and and post recent activities. Aside from that, Facebook offers a bunch of Applications, which makes the user much more acquainted with each other. Farm Town is an application which was offered by Facebook lately has drawn thousands of users across Asia. As it continue to become popular among the teenage people, it became the driving force of most networking sites popular in Asia and the US. Entering the homepage of Facebook will eventually force you to make a move and begun to add some friends or friends which are thought to be your friends as recommended by the system. The time that you had begun chatting with them couldn't make you stop before anything else does. Even twitting and posting a shout out could be as frequent as you might think. Adding pictures, videos, events and links could be as easy as a flash. That might be habitual for some such that in a short spand of time Facebook has manage to do such things. For fresh users, facebook is not that easy to handle, not user friendly which is disadvantageous than other networking site such as friendster.

Friendster was founded to create a safer, more effective environment for meeting new people by browsing user profiles and connecting to friends, friends of friends and so on, allowing members to expand their network of friends more rapidly than in real life, face-to-face scenarios. With over 90 million user today and growing, it became the breed and butter of social networking sites in Asia. Friendster hit the web last 2002 by his founder Jonathan Abram in Mountain View ,California. Friendster is an addiction as you go over the page. I had my account since 2004 as it hits the airwaves in Philippine TV, making Friendster the most viewed web page that time. With its beautifully designed and costumed made pages and themes, Friendster has already brought the heart of most Asians. This site has been increasingly becoming more appealing to the public since its launching. With its easy to use and packed with fun applications though not quiet as many as Facebook, the site has manage to make you giggle and laugh by watching funny reviews of your pictures written by your friends. The only serious drawback on Friendster is that they are not investing much on redesigning and adding more applications to the site which hamper its popularity than its rival, Facebook. There are a lot of posers and scammers registered in Friendster than in Facebook which makes it more vulnerable to scam and the likes. The harsh path that Friendster has taken looses its credibility in the networking arena.

For the days to come, Facebook and Friendster has increasingly becoming popular to the people specially to the young generation.Facebook has already made its way to popularity with the Asians. Unfortunately Friendster is loosing some of the precious users across Asia, if they could patch out this problem as soon as possible by making revisions of some applications and design they had embedded on the program it would certainly assures its longevity to last for another 5 years. as of now, Facebooks marks the giant of all networking sites.

The contrived tree rends a healthy workload.
