Facing Betrayal - Sexual Abuse Recovery

Sexual abuse recovery requires us to face many truths about our past.  When we think about one parent, in the case of incest, being an abuser, we often tend to excuse the other parent. However, most of the time, the "non-offending" parent is also responsible for the abuse.  Facing that truth puts us face to face with betrayal by both parents.  How do we deal with that kind of pain?  This article describes my process of recovery as I faced this truth.  May you be blessed in your healing journey!
