Fall Fishing
Fall Fishing
Even though you may not think so, Fall is actually a good time to go fishing for bass, trout, salmon, steelhead, etc. This is because the fish are in a feeding frenzy as they know winter is approaching. Also, you don't have to worry about gnats and mosquitoes. Some places you can fish in Fall are the Mid-Columbia lakes, Railroad Pond (near Mesa),Lake Martin in Alabama, the Yakima River, the Columbia River, Dalton Lake on the Corp of Engineers' Big Flat Habitat Area and Lake Lenore (north of Soap Lake). I'm sure there are others. Water temperatures of fifty degrees is ideal for fishing and Thanksgiving is the best time to fish.
