The family Christmas Tree

Raising a houseful of kids at holiday time usually means that your tree is a hodge podge of homemade ornaments and too much fake snow. It makes your wish for those beautiful trees you see in magaizines and in stores.

but what happens when your children all leave the nest and you can at last have that perfect Christmas of your dreams. Here is how I felt about it all.

Family Christmas Tree

Such a wonderful article!  Family trees with everyone's person touch are the best!   That's what ours is like and I love it.   I also love pulling out the homemade ornaments from years past and being reminded of how much my little boy grew from year to year.  The maturity in craftsmanship for each year was amazing and always brought up memories of the uniqueness of each Christmas.  He's 13yo now so I still have a few more years of his personal touch in decorating the tree.  I hope I will still be able to replicate the essence when he's grown and moved on.

Happy Holidays!
