It's the best cracker jack prize ever and it wasn't even in a box of cracker jacks!! A family in Irvine, CA was grocery shopping and found $10,000 inside the box! Being the good people they are they didn't keep it. Instead they called the police who told them it might be money from a drug drop that went bad.

Later police hear from the grocery store that an elderly woman had returned a box of crackers with her life savings in it. Supposedly she didn't trust her bank any more and pulled out her money and thought the cracker box would be a safer bet. Too bad she returned it!!

Luckily for the lady the store messed up and restocked the crackers instead of trashing them!

It seems that the family that returned the money never heard from the lady and received no reward for their good deed. Though they did go back to the store and asked for another box of crackers which the store was fine with replacing.
