For the last few years, I've dabbled in pizza making, but never managed to come up with a crust that I thought was worthy of much praise -- until I found this recipe, that is.

As Italian I think this pizza seems like an Italian Pizza... :-)

The American version of pizza is a bit different, I believe, than Italian pizza. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not traditional in Italy to pile on all those toppings. It's not meant to be the main course, is it? :)

I was in Italy briefly the year before last. On a whim, my Swiss girlfriend and I decided to drive to the Mediterranean coast. We stayed in Rimini. It was November -- strange time to go, I know. We just stayed overnight, and drove back the next day.

I can't believe I didn't order a pizza at dinner. For some reason, I had my heart set on a nice piece of grilled Swordfish. :)

I'm not too big on crowded tourist spots, myself. It was quite enjoyable when we went. The weather was rather mild for that time of year. It was just pleasant walking the streets that evening and soaking up the atmosphere. :)
