Famous People Who Have Roses Named After Them

Roses come in many colors and fragrances. Red roses are a symbol of love, yellow of reconciliation and white of purity. Gardeners and horticultural experts from China to the US, and Mexico to UK, are constantly developing new varieites.

It is an acceptable practise within the rose growing community to name new varieties after famous people, or significant events.

These famous ladies had roses named after them:

Audrey Hepburn,
Grace Kelly,

This isn't confined to the ladies though,famous men have had roses named after them too.
